First off this is an unofficial challenge that I set out to complete a couple of years ago, to catch (on a fly) and photograph the anadromous form of every salmonid in the State of Washington. While this challenge should have been completed back in October, however all of the coastal variety of steelhead that I had caught had been slightly too crafty for me to get a picture. A couple of weeks ago that changed and I finally finished this mini-quest off.

Wow. ¡Qué variedad de salmónidos! ¡Qué envidia!
Awesome Gary. Do you guys have any sea run browns up there?
Dave, There aren't any sea-run browns in Washington that I have ever heard of and I doubt any exist. Browns never really got stocked in Western Washington luckily for the native fish. Every once and a while a fish farm escapee Atlantic will turn up, but there aren't any spawning populations of those either at this time.
Congrats! That's quite an accomplishment!
Chris
That is a great personal goal to accomplish Gary. Very nicely done.
